STAR EDUCATION, 2024-2025 Join the STAR Summer Camp at Kester for a season of fun, learning, and creativity! Open to all Kester students, the program includes sports, arts, STEM, and more. Star Education has been a leader in innovative educational programming and community-based cultural enrichment projects for over 30 years. For the 2024-2025 school year, STAR Education will be provided to all TK—5th grade students who apply for after-school care. Fall 2025-2026 Applications are below. The applications can be turned in after school at Clark st. parking lot gate on May 22nd after 3:30pm. No Line required as we are accepting all applications.	ENRICHMENT KIDS, 2024-2025 Enrichment Educational Experiences/E3 is an after-school enrichment program based in Los Angeles. Serving the San Fernando Valley and beyond, we have been enriching the lives of students for over 25 years! Spots are no longer limited for the upcoming school year. Click here for more program information.	Creative Kids, 2024-2025 For over 40 years, Creative Kids has been providing safe, quality and affordable childcare to LAUSD families. We pride ourselves in being a home away from home with early morning care options as well as after school.
Free Program includes: Homework assistance Classes such as Science, Technology, Art, Math, Literacy, Sports, Dance and much more Supper is included TK Ratio is 10:1, K-5 Ratio is 20:1 All students will be separated by grade level Due to the grant requirements students must attend Monday-Friday from dismissal until 6pm. TK is exempt.	Program includes: Homework assistance Student Enrichment classes such as Fine Arts, Science, Chess, Physical Education, Language Arts and more. Mon - Thurs has study hall and enrichment classes. Friday offers additional fun activities instead of study hall. Grades TK-5 with 14:1 student to staff ratio Students separated into groups of TK-1st grade and 2nd-5th grades. Parent provided snacks.	Program includes: Homework time with assistance Enrichment programs – Leap, Mad Science, Critter Squad etc. Nutritious Snacks provided Grades TK-5 with a 14:1 student to staff ratio. Indoor/Outdoor Activities Before and after-school options. Morning care hours from 6:30-8am, Afternoon from dismissal to 6:30pm. Programs usually open during vacation periods such as winter, spring, and summer vacation from 6:30am – 6:30pm.
Application Process: Applications can be turned in to Mr. Al at the Clark Street gate. Must be filled out completely with all required parent/guardian signatures and emergency contact information. Any court ordered papers are required to be submitted. If application is incomplete in any way, it will be placed on the space available list until completed properly.
